Effect of miRs-17/20 on vasospasm in subarachnoid hemorrhage model of rats

Aim: To investigate the effects of melatonin and miRNA-17/20 administration on vasospasm vascular damage bacillary artery in Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) model rats.Methods: Rats were divided into 6 groups: Sham, SAH, SAH+NegmiRNA, SAH+MEL, SAH-miRs-17/20 group, SAH+MEL+miRs-17/20. For creating SAH skin was cut with a vertical incision anterior region head.120 µL fresh non-heparinized autologous arterial blood collected from tail injected prechiasmatic cistern under aseptic conditions. All steps Sham same as except for injection. In SAH+NegmiRs-17/20, miRs-17/20 miRNA Mimic-Negative Control#1 administered 1 hour after operation. SAH+MEL,10 mg/kg intraperitoneally SAH-miRs-17/20, mimic-miR-17 mimic-miR-20 given intranasally SAH+MEL+miRs-17/20,intranasal intraperitoneal Brain samples, including artery, taken subjected to routine tissue processing procedures. Vessel samples evaluated graded histological sections stained H-E method terms vasospasm, edema tunica media, folding lamina elastica interna.Results: The co-administration reduced formation vessel wall. It has also been demonstrated that application alone reduces development wall internasal due vasospasm.Conclusion: shown can reduce prevent by reducing edema.
